Jim Chambers is a retired civil engineer who lives with his wife in Atlanta, Georgia. An accomplished photographer, his images have been published in National Geographic books. His lifelong passion, however, is reading, and he loves almost all genres.
While working, Jim wrote or edited hundreds of technical papers and reports. Since his retirement, he has proofread more than 100 novels.
Irene Steiger spent most of her childhood with her nose glued to a book, and she’s still rarely without a stack from the library, though pesky little things like college classes keep getting in the way of her reading.
While she will read just about anythi∂ng, her favorites are sci-fi/fantasy, humor, mystery, historical fiction, suspense, paranormal…and so on and so forth.
Irene is kept well in hand by her cat Felice, aka Squeaky.
Kristina Baker has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. She teaches English as a second language and is a freelance writer. In her free time, she likes to read and make pottery. She currently lives in South Central Pennsylvania.
Kim Husband, M.A., is a freelance proofreader, copyeditor and writer based in the Twin Cities (MN). She has copyedited more than 100 textbooks for clients that include Sage Publications and Cambridge University Press, online course materials for the University of Minnesota, and corporate communications for Wells Fargo. She has also edited a dozen novels ranging in topic from autobiographical fiction to science fiction and taught writing at the University of Maine for two years.
In her free time, Kim studies and teaches T’ai Chi and other martial arts (and has edited and contributed to books on those subjects as well).
Another fan of the Oxford comma, Joann has been passed around among friends and family as a proofreader, line editor, beta reader, and test subject for far too long. She’s worked on several of the English Discworld Conventions, including the post of Publications in 2008. In her spare time, she makes jewelry, writes, and is currently winning Twitter.
